Namaskaram.
My pranams to each one of you.
It brings me great joy to see so many radiant faces gathered here today β seekers, healers, and warriors of wellness. Today, weβre here not just to understand an illness... but to understand ourselves through the illness.
Let me start with a simple truth: Psoriasis is not just a skin condition. It is not merely a collection of flakes, plaques, or itches. It is, in fact, the bodyβs eloquent cry for balance β a mirror reflecting the inner disturbances of mind, digestion, immunity, and deeper Prakriti-related disharmonies.
So, allow me to guide you on a journey today β a journey from confusion to clarity, from frustration to understanding, and finally from illness to integration.
WHY THIS TOPIC MATTERS
Modern dermatology tells us that Psoriasis is incurable. That it is genetic, autoimmune, and chronic. Patients are handed topical steroids, immunosuppressants, phototherapy regimens β all of which may suppress symptoms, but never address the cause.
But friends⦠Ayurveda says something very different.
Ayurveda says β "Yat pinde tat brahmande" β what happens in the microcosm of the body reflects the macrocosm of our entire being. Psoriasis is not random. It is the result of very specific imbalances, and it manifests in very predictable stages.
And best of all?
It can be reversed. Yes β reversed β with the right blend of Ayurveda, nutrition, lifestyle, and mind-body care.
THE AIM OF TODAY'S TALK
So what are we going to do today?
Weβre going to decode Psoriasis through the scientific and spiritual lens of Ayurveda.
Weβll look at:
- What is Psoriasis β both modern and Ayurvedic views
- What causes it β not just from outside, but inside
- How Ayurveda diagnoses it using Dasa Vidha Pareeksha
- How we understand it through Prakriti (constitutional typing)
- The Six Kriya Kalas (stages) in which the disease evolves
- Ayurvedic therapeutic protocols β diet, herbs, Panchakarma, Rasayana
- The mind-skin-gut connection and how to realign it
- And finally: a practical roadmap for healing, especially for those who feel theyβve βtried everythingβ
Β
I want each of you to leave today not just more informed β but more empowered. To see illness not as an enemy, but as a teacher.
START WITH A SCIENTIFIC FOUNDATION
Letβs begin with what we know from modern medicine.
Psoriasis, as classified by dermatology, is a chronic autoimmune inflammatory skin disease. It affects about 2-3% of the global population. It manifests as:
- Red, scaly plaques β especially on elbows, knees, scalp, back
- Silvery flaking β due to hyper-proliferation of skin cells
- In some cases β joint pain (psoriatic arthritis)
Β
Science tells us it involves a T-cellβmediated immune response, cytokine overexpression, and genetic predisposition involving HLA-Cw6 and others. Triggers include:
- Stress
- Infections
- Skin injuries (Koebner phenomenon)
- Alcohol and smoking
- Weather changes
- Obesity
Β
Now thatβs all very helpful. But... as a clinician who has treated over 3000 psoriasis patients with integrative Ayurveda β I can tell you: this view is incomplete. We are not just a bag of genes and proteins.
Ayurveda gives us the rest of the picture.
THE AYURVEDIC VIEW β DEEPER, WIDER, AND MORE HUMAN
From an Ayurvedic perspective, Psoriasis is a manifestation of internal doshic imbalance, primarily involving:
- Vata (dryness, flaking, variable intensity)
- Kapha (stickiness, heaviness, chronic nature)
- And in many cases β Pitta (redness, inflammation, burning)
Β
This complex condition falls under the classical term βKitibha Kushtaβ, a type of Kshudra Kushta (minor skin disease) mentioned in classical Ayurvedic texts such as:
- Charaka Samhita
- Sushruta Samhita
- Ashtanga Hridaya
Β
But let me be very clear: In Ayurveda, "minor" doesnβt mean unimportant. It means the disease is treatable if diagnosed early.
And here's the best part: Ayurveda sees Psoriasis not as a single disease, but a continuum of dysfunction β spread across:
- Digestion (Agni)
- Elimination (Apana)
- Blood (Rakta)
- Mind (Manas)
- Tissue metabolism (Dhatu-agni)
Β
So, unless all of these are addressed⦠lasting healing is not possible.
A HOLISTIC FRAMEWORK FOR HEALING
Now, I know many of you are practitioners, students, and patients. So, we will dive deep β but also stay practical. Thatβs the Guruji way, right? No fluff β just grounded, compassionate healing.
So, are you ready?
Take a deep breath. Let go of what you think you know about your condition. And let us begin⦠not a fight against disease, but a dialogue with your own body.
Because in that dialogue⦠lies the cure.
Understanding Psoriasis: Modern vs Ayurvedic Perspectives
Now that weβve centered ourselves, let us look at the beast weβre trying to tame. What exactly is psoriasis? Where does it begin β in the skinβ¦ or in the soul?
To answer that, we must look at both lenses β the lens of modern medicine, and the lens of Ayurveda.
Letβs hold them both. Together. With respect.
MODERN MEDICINE'S UNDERSTANDING OF PSORIASIS
Dermatology defines Psoriasis as an autoimmune disorder affecting the skin. In this condition, the immune system mistakenly speeds up the life cycle of skin cells, causing them to multiply 10 times faster than normal. The result? Skin cells build up, forming scaly, dry, inflamed plaques.
Now, letβs go a little deeper.
Under the microscope, doctors see the following changes:
- Hyperkeratosis β thickening of the outer layer of the skin
- Acanthosis β elongation of epidermal ridges
- Parakeratosis β immature cells pushed to the surface
- Dilated blood vessels β leading to redness
- T-cell infiltration β immune cells attacking skin
Β
The most common types include:
- Plaque Psoriasis (Psoriasis vulgaris) β 90% of cases
- Guttate Psoriasis β triggered by infections
- Inverse Psoriasis β in body folds
- Pustular Psoriasis β filled with pus; rare and serious
- Erythrodermic Psoriasis β life-threatening, entire body
Β
But beyond the skin, psoriasis patients often suffer from:
- Psoriatic arthritis
- Metabolic syndrome
- Depression, anxiety, social withdrawal
- Insomnia due to itching
- Low self-esteem, body shame
Β
Now the question that always arises is this: If modern medicine understands so much, why canβt it cure it?
Because β modern medicine sees the what but often misses the why. And without the why, we treat the flame, not the fire.
THE AYURVEDIC VIEW β ROOTS, NOT JUST SYMPTOMS
Nowβ¦ come with me to a different realm. Letβs step into the Ayurvedic clinic. No fluorescent lights. No sterile gloves. Just pulse, tongue, eyesβ¦ β¦and a patientβs story.
In Ayurveda, psoriasis is classified as a form of Kushta, which broadly refers to skin disorders. More specifically, it is aligned with Kitibha Kushta and Eka Kushta, as described in the ancient texts.
Letβs look at what these terms mean:
βKitibhaβ β a type of skin disease characterized by dryness (rukshata), discoloration (vaivarnyata), itching (kandu), thickened lesions (utsanna), and scaling (parushata).
Now you tell me β is this not a poetic, 5000-year-old diagnosis of psoriasis?
Ayurveda says:
- Skin disease does not begin in the skin.
- It begins in the gut β with impaired Agni (digestive fire)
- It festers due to Ama (toxins) β improperly digested materials
- It is fueled by dosha imbalance β primarily Vata-Kapha-Pitta
- It deepens with Rakta Dushti β vitiation of the blood
- And it solidifies with Manasika Nidanas β emotional and mental causes
Β
So, in Ayurveda, we do not say βwhat do you have?β We ask: "How did you get here?"
Let me show you the core differences:
π Factor 𧬠Modern Medicine πΏ Ayurveda
Cause Autoimmune, Genetic Dosha imbalance, Agni dysfunction, Ama, Mental stress
Focus Symptom suppression Root-cause correction
Approach Topicals, immunosuppressants Diet, Detox, Lifestyle, Panchakarma, Rasayana
Diagnosis Bloodwork, Biopsy, Imaging Dasa Vidha Pareeksha, Prakriti Analysis, Nadi Pariksha
Healing Goal Disease Management Restoration of equilibrium (Swasthya)
Now, friends⦠here comes a beautiful truth.
The body, mind, and spirit are not separate in Ayurveda. Your skin is not separate from your digestion. Your digestion is not separate from your emotion. And your emotion is not separate from your spiritual state.
So, when psoriasis appears β yes, we treat the skin β but also the stomach, the liver, the blood, the sweat channels, and most of all β the mind.
VATA, PITTA, KAPHA INVOLVEMENT IN PSORIASIS
Let us break down how the doshas play their roles.
- Vata β causes dryness, fissures, cracking, intense scaling
- Pitta β causes redness, inflammation, burning, bleeding
- Kapha β causes thickness, oozing, stickiness, chronicity
Β
Most psoriatic patients I see have a Vata-Kapha pathology with an underlying Pitta spike. But it differs based on each patientβs Prakriti, Ahara-Vihara, and even emotional patterns.
We will go deep into Prakriti-based understanding soon β but for now, I want you to understand this:
Every personβs psoriasis is different. Because every personβs body, digestion, mind, and karma are different.
This is the greatest gift Ayurveda gives us: Individualized wisdom.
DISEASE IS A CYCLE, NOT A RANDOM EVENT
Modern science sees psoriasis as a lifetime disease. Ayurveda sees it as a cycle of imbalance, which can be reversed.
If the cause is removed β If the channels are cleared β If the blood is purified β If the mind is calmed β Then yes, even long-standing, severe psoriasis can heal.
Not by suppressing it. But by understanding and honoring it.
A TRUE STORY
Let me tell you about a patient. A 32-year-old software engineer. He came in with plaque psoriasis on 60% of his body. He had used topical steroids for 6 years. He was depressed, overweight, and bitter.
I did not give him hope. I gave him a plan. We assessed him using Dasa Vidha Pareeksha. His Prakriti? Kapha-Pitta. Agni? Manda. Mind? Rajasic, irritable, overworked.
We treated him not just with herbs⦠but with compassion. With rituals. With trust in his body.
In 7 months, he was clear.
Today, he is off steroids. Lean. Calm. Teaching yoga.
What did we treat? The skin? No. We treated the entire human being.
HOW AYURVEDA DIAGNOSES DISEASE
Are you ready to dive deeper?
Because in our next session, we will explore how Ayurveda uses a tenfold diagnostic system β known as Dasa Vidha Pareeksha β to understand not just disease, but the very nature of the patient.
We will learn how your pulse, tongue, eyes, speech, body structure, mind, and habits reveal everything your body wants to tell you β even before symptoms begin.
This is not guesswork.
This is wisdom medicine.
I look forward to walking you through it β step by step.
Dasa Vidha Pareeksha β The Tenfold Diagnostic Framework
Friends, if you truly wish to heal β not just manage β any diseaseβ¦ then diagnosis must go far beyond blood tests and labels.
Thatβs why in Ayurveda, we begin with something sacred.
Before the herbs, before the treatment, before even the oils β we listen. We observe. We analyze the whole person β not just the patch of skin.
This is done using an ancient, incredibly precise system called:
Dasa Vidha Pareeksha β The Tenfold Examination of the Individual
Let me be very clear β this is not a test of the disease. It is a test of the person who has the disease.
And this distinction makes all the difference in healing.
What Is Dasa Vidha Pareeksha?
Dasa Vidha Pareeksha is detailed in the classical Ayurvedic texts, particularly in Charaka Samhita, and it is a holistic way to evaluate a patient on ten parameters. Together, these help the Vaidya (healer) understand the true origin of imbalance.
Here they are:
- Prakriti β Inborn constitution
- Vikriti β Current imbalance
- Sara β Quality of body tissues
- Samhanana β Body compactness
- Pramana β Body measurement (height, weight)
- Satmya β Adaptability and tolerance
- Satva β Mental strength and resilience
- Aahara Shakti β Digestive power
- Vyayama Shakti β Exercise capacity
- Vaya β Age
Β
Let me walk you through each one. Because in the case of psoriasis, each parameter unveils a hidden truth β one that modern dermatology canβt detect.
Prakriti β Your Ayurvedic Constitution
This is your biological blueprint β established at birth.
Are you naturally more Vata, Pitta, or Kapha dominant? Or a mix?
This influences:
- How your skin reacts
- How your body detoxifies
- How you handle stress
- How you respond to certain foods or environments
Β
For instance:
- Pitta Prakriti people may develop red, burning lesions with bleeding
- Vata Prakriti may have dry, fissured, flaky patches
- Kapha Prakriti may show thick, sticky, slow-healing plaques
Β
So even before treatment, Prakriti tells us what kind of psoriasis a person is likely to get.
Vikriti β Your Present Doshic Imbalance
Prakriti is what youβre born with. Vikriti is what youβve become.
Itβs the deviation from your natural state β usually due to:
- Wrong diet (Ahara)
- Unnatural lifestyle (Vihara)
- Stress, trauma
- Environmental influences
- Suppression of natural urges (Vegas)
Β
In psoriasis, we often see Vata-Kapha Vikriti β dry yet sticky, thick yet cracking. Sometimes with underlying Pitta symptoms like burning.
This tells us how to tailor the treatment β for example, whether to calm dryness (Vata), inflammation (Pitta), or sluggishness (Kapha).
Sara β Tissue Quality
Sara is the essence or excellence of your Dhatus (body tissues): Rasa (plasma), Rakta (blood), Mamsa (muscle), Meda (fat), etc.
In psoriasis, we focus especially on:
- Rakta Sara β purity and strength of the blood
- Twak Sara β quality of skin tissue
- Majja Sara β state of the nervous system (itching is linked here)
Β
Poor Rakta Sara leads to more aggressive, recurrent skin eruptions.
So we ask: Is your blood healthy? Or is it full of unprocessed waste (Ama)?
Samhanana β Body Compactness
This tells us how well the tissues are arranged, held together β your structural integrity.
Poor Samhanana often means poor immunity and poor skin resilience. Psoriasis tends to flare more severely in those with loose, poorly bound tissues.
Pramana β Body Size and Proportions
Height, weight, BMI β yes, even Ayurveda considers these.
But itβs not about beauty or thinness β itβs about metabolic strength.
Obese patients (high Meda) may have sluggish Agni and more Kapha-related psoriasis. Lean patients may suffer more from Vata-induced dryness.
Satmya β What Your Body Is Used To
This refers to your habitual diet, climate, and environment.
A person raised on dairy, sweets, and fried foods will have different imbalances than someone raised on spicy or fermented diets.
Psoriasis often worsens when someone shifts away from their Satmya β moving from a hot climate to a cold one or switching to an unnatural diet.
Satva β Mental Strength
This is where the mind enters the equation.
Satva reflects your ability to cope with stress, sadness, pressure.
Many psoriasis patients Iβve seen have Rajasic minds β prone to irritation, fear, shame, and restlessness. These emotions flare the condition.
Low Satva means even small setbacks trigger large responses. So part of treatment must include Satva-building herbs, meditation, and counsel.
Aahara Shakti β Digestive Power
How well do you digest?
Not just food⦠but life?
Low Agni leads to Ama, which is the root of all skin diseases in Ayurveda.
If Agni is poor, no matter how good the herbs β the body cannot assimilate healing.
So we assess:
- Do you feel bloated?
- Heavy after meals?
- Have irregular appetite?
- Coated tongue? Foul breath? Sticky stools?
Β
Then we must rekindle the fire before anything else.
Vyayama Shakti β Capacity for Movement
This is not a fitness test. Itβs about your circulation, your vitality, and your ability to eliminate waste through exercise.
Those with sedentary habits often have Kapha stagnation β toxins settle in the skin.
We must gently awaken the system through:
- Yoga
- Breathwork
- Rebuilding the natural rhythm of sweat and circulation
Β
Vaya β Age
Childrenβs skin responds quickly. Elderly skin needs gentler detoxification.
Age also determines the depth of the disease, and how we layer the treatment.
A 20-year-old with psoriasis of 1 year is very different from a 55-year-old with 20 years of suppressed disease.
The Outcome of Diagnosis
When I evaluate a psoriasis patient through Dasa Vidha Pareeksha, I do not merely see a skin disease.
I see a story.
- I see the foods that inflamed them
- The emotions they could not digest
- The rituals they abandoned
- The toxins they retained
- And the inner balance they must return to
Β
This process also builds trust β the patient begins to see their disease not as a punishment, but as a signalβ¦ a teacherβ¦ a mirror.
Prakriti-Based Understanding of Psoriasis β Tailoring Healing to Your Constitution
Now, friendsβ¦ if there is one thing Ayurveda insists upon β it is this:
βNo two people are the same. So no two treatments should ever be the same.β
Let that sink in. You are not your neighbor. Not your sister. Not even your twin.
You are your Prakriti β your unique elemental fingerprint. The blueprint of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha woven into you at birth.
And that Prakriti doesnβt just determine your digestion, your skin, your voice, or your cravingsβ¦
It determines how disease expresses itself in your body.
So when it comes to psoriasis, Prakriti gives us a critical clue:
βWhat kind of psoriasis do you get? And more importantlyβ¦ why?β
Letβs explore this β Dosha by Dosha.
1. Vata-Predominant Psoriasis
(Air + Ether)
These patients are light, fast-moving, often lean with dry skin and cold hands. They tend to have irregular habits β eating late, sleeping late, and worrying often.
When Vata goes out of balance in the skin, it causes:
- Excessive dryness
- Flaky scaling like snow
- Cracking, bleeding in deeper lesions
- Variable patches β no fixed pattern
- Itching that comes in waves
- Stress-triggered flares β emotional wind fans the internal fire
Β
These are the patients who come to me saying, βGuruji, I feel like my skin is shrinking,β or βIt itches so deep, no oil helps.β
They may also have constipation, joint pain, anxiety, and disturbed sleep β all signs of Vata pushing its way through the body.
π©Ί Treatment Focus:
- Snehana (Oiling) β Inside & out
- Vata-calming diet β warm, moist, grounding
- Abhyanga with Balaashwagandhadi tailam, Dasamoola kashaya
- Shirodhara for the mind
- Gentle Basti therapy (medicated enemas)
Β
This is not just skin work. This is nervous system healing.
2. Pitta-Predominant Psoriasis
(Fire + Water)
These individuals are intense. Sharp eyes. Strong digestion. Precise in speech. Often Type A personalities.
But when Pitta tips over⦠the fire burns the skin.
In Pitta psoriasis, we see:
- Red, inflamed, hot lesions
- Burning or stinging sensation
- Peeling rather than flaking
- Sometimes bleeding or oozing
- Often symmetrical plaques
- Flares are worse with heat, spicy food, alcohol, and anger
Β
This person will say, βGuruji, the skin is on fire.β They often have acidity, bitter taste in mouth, or loose motions.
π©Ί Treatment Focus:
- Pitta-pacifying herbs β Guduchi, Neem, Patola, Manjistha
- Tikta Ghrita (bitter ghee-based medicines)
- Rakta Mokshana (bloodletting in some classical cases)
- Cooling diet β no tomatoes, onions, garlic, fermented foods
- Avoid over-exercise, late nights, and harsh sunlight
Β
Here, we calm the inner fire without putting it out. Controlled flame not smothered smoke.
3. Kapha-Predominant Psoriasis
(Earth + Water)
These patients are solid, calm, slow-moving, often overweight, with oily skin and a tendency toward mucus buildup.
When Kapha accumulates in the skin, it manifests as:
- Thick, raised plaques
- Sticky or greasy scaling
- White or yellowish patches
- Slow healing, stubborn recurrence
- Minimal itching, but heavy sensation
- Often coexists with diabetes, high cholesterol, obesity
Β
This person will say, βItβs not painful. But it just wonβt go away.β
π©Ί Treatment Focus:
- Deepana-Pachana (Digestive stimulation)
- Kapha-reducing herbs β Triphala, Guggulu, Trikatu, Turmeric
- Udwarthana β dry powder massage to scrape toxins
- Langhana β light fasting or fruit mono-diets
- Bitter, pungent foods β no dairy, sugar, wheat
Β
Here, we melt the stagnant water and wake up the fire.
What About Dual or Tri-Doshic Types?
Most patients are not purely one type. Some may have Vata-Pitta psoriasis β dry and red, with burning cracks. Others may show Kapha-Pitta β thick, inflamed plaques with sticky exudate. A few may even express all three β a true Tri-Doshic Kushta β requiring layered treatment over time.
This is why standard creams never work. Because your psoriasis is not standard.
The Mental Component: Emotional Prakriti
Letβs not forget β each Dosha also rules emotions.
- Vata minds fear and overthink
- Pitta minds burn with anger and judgment
- Kapha minds hold grief, resist change
Β
So the emotional Prakriti often predates the skin symptoms.
Iβve seen Vata patients suppress heartbreakβ¦ and develop psoriasis. Pitta clients unable to forgiveβ¦ burning from inside. Kapha clients storing years of sadness in their skin like a sponge.
If we do not treat the emotion behind the eruption, the skin will never settle.
Customizing External Therapies by Prakriti
Let me also share how we tailor oils and lepas (herbal pastes):
Prakriti Tailam / Oil Lepa (Herbal Paste)
Vata Bala Taila, Ksheerabala 101 Dashamoola + Chandana
Pitta Pinda Taila, Chandanadi Taila Manjistha + Yashtimadhu
Kapha Triphaladi Taila, Kottamchukkadi Haridra + Daru Haridra
Each oil carries a message to your skin.
It says: "I know your nature. I see you. Let me balance you.β
Healing Happens in Layers β and In Order
One of the greatest mistakes people make is jumping to treatment without knowing the person.
A Kapha person fasting on bitter herbs might worsen Vata. A Vata person on detox might dry out the skin further. A Pitta person using strong lepas might ignite inflammation.
But when we honor your Prakritiβ¦
- The skin calms.
- The digestion resets.
- The mind softens.
- The root heals.
Β
This is the sacred art of personalized healing.
Six Stages of Psoriasis β Understanding Shat Kriya Kala in Skin Disease
My dear friends⦠disease is never sudden. Not even psoriasis.
Your body has been whispering for months β sometimes years. Only when you did not listen to the whispersβ¦ did it scream through the skin.
Ayurveda teaches us this elegantly β through a model called:
Shat Kriya Kala βThe Six Stages of Disease Progressionβ
This model applies to all diseases β but when it comes to Kushta Roga (skin diseases), it is especially relevant, because the skin is always the final surface. Never the starting point.
Let us walk through these six stages β one by one β and I will show you how psoriasis begins in the gut, travels through the blood, and finally lands on the skin.
Stage 1: Sanchaya (Accumulation)
βThe Silent Buildupβ
In this stage, doshas begin to accumulate in their respective homes:
- Kapha in the stomach
- Pitta in the small intestine
- Vata in the colon
Β
You may feel small symptoms:
- Feeling heavy, sluggish
- Minor digestive upset
- Irregular appetite
- Slight irritability, dryness
Β
But the skin is still calm.
This is the best time to prevent psoriasis. But most people miss it. Why? Because they are too busy. Or they think, βItβs just gas.β But here, the doshas are brewing.
A patient destined for psoriasis will often have poor Agni, frequent consumption of incompatible foods (milk + fish, yogurt + meat, etc.), long sitting hours, or suppressed emotions.
Stage 2: Prakopa (Aggravation)
βThe Stirring Stormβ
Now the accumulated doshas are no longer passive β they are irritated. Theyβre agitated. The gut becomes unstable.
Here you may feel:
- Bloating, constipation, burning, reflux
- Strong food cravings or aversions
- Mood swings, fatigue
- Migratory body aches
- Dry eyes, early rashes, mild itching (especially after food)
Β
Still β no diagnosis. No blood test will βfindβ psoriasis here. But inside, the fire has been lit.
This is where I often say: If you treat here, the disease disappears without a trace.
Stage 3: Prasara (Spreading)
βThe Doshas Leave Homeβ
This is the critical turning point.
The aggravated doshas overflow from the gut into the circulatory system β traveling through rasa (plasma), rakta (blood), and skin channels (twak vaha srotas).
Symptoms may now appear beyond digestion:
- Mild skin dryness
- Scalp flaking mistaken for dandruff
- Itching after stress or spicy food
- Small pink or red dots on the limbs
- Allergic reactions or rashes after certain foods
Β
You go to the dermatologist β they may call it eczema, or give antihistamines. But what they miss is the flow of toxins now reaching the skinβs doorstep.
This is also where emotional stress begins to amplify the problem.
The Vata person may notice worsening with travel, anxiety. The Pitta person reacts to heat, anger, pressure. The Kapha person feels worse with cold, dairy, or stagnation.
Stage 4: Sthana Samshraya (Localization)
βThe Doshas Find a Homeβ
Now comes the first true visible onset of psoriasis. This is the moment the doshas, flowing through the body, find a weak dhatu (tissue) β and settle there.
In most psoriasis cases, the affected tissues are:
- Rakta dhatu (blood)
- Mamsa dhatu (muscle)
- Twak (skin)
- Occasionally Asthi (bone, joints β psoriatic arthritis)
Β
This is where you first see:
- Red, inflamed patches on elbows, knees, scalp
- Chronic itching or burning
- Nails beginning to pit or thicken
- The βKoebner phenomenonβ β lesions forming where skin is scratched or injured
Β
At this stage, the disease has found its target. Now, if left untreated, it goes deeper. But still β it is fully reversible with Shodhana (detox) and Agni-balancing protocols.
Stage 5: Vyakta (Manifestation)
βThe Disease Has a Nameβ
Here, the disease becomes clinically identifiable.
Psoriasis is now diagnosable. You may be given a name β plaque psoriasis, inverse, guttate, pustular.
Here, symptoms are obvious:
- Silvery scaling
- Oozing or bleeding
- Painful, cracked skin
- Psychological impact: embarrassment, anxiety
- Lesions spreading to new locations
- Sometimes joint pain begins
Β
Now, modern medicine may start immunosuppressants.
But in Ayurveda, this is still treatable β though longer, deeper therapies are required.
At this stage, I often combine:
- Panchakarma therapies β especially Virechana and Basti
- Internal Rasayana β to rebuild immunity
- Customized external applications
- Mental-emotional balancing
- Ritual routines (Dinacharya, Ritucharya)
Β
Healing is not linear here β but deeply possible.
Stage 6: Bheda (Complication / Diversification)
βThe Disease Fragments and Deepensβ
This is the chronic, relapsing stage. The disease is now deeply embedded in multiple tissues. Often:
- Psoriasis is steroid-dependent
- Liver enzymes rise
- Flares appear with even mild triggers
- Joint deformities may set in
- Sleep, libido, digestion, skin β all suffer
- The immune system is dysregulated
Β
Now, healing becomes a long journey β but not impossible.
The key here is layered, cyclical treatment.
- First, digestive reset
- Then gradual detoxification
- Slowly, tissue repair and rejuvenation
- Ongoing emotional release and self-alignment
Β
Many of my patients come to me in this stage β after 10β20 years of suffering. And yet, with full trust in the Ayurvedic path, they do heal.
Not overnight. But surely.
What Shat Kriya Kala Teaches Us
Let me now ask you:
When does psoriasis begin? At the first skin patch? Or at the first digestive disturbance 6 months prior? Or the mental trauma that created suppressed Pitta?
This is the wisdom of Shat Kriya Kala.
We no longer blame the skin. We thank the skin⦠for showing us what we did not see sooner.
Causative Factors in Psoriasis β Food, Lifestyle, Emotions & Environmental Roots
So far, weβve discussed what psoriasis isβ¦ How it evolvesβ¦ How to examine the person, not just the patchβ¦
Now itβs time to answer something fundamental: Why did your body erupt in this way? Whatβs the real fuel behind psoriasis?
Ayurveda says: βNidana Parivarjanaβ β removing the cause is half the cure. If the triggers remainβ¦ even the most expensive oils will fail.
So what are these triggers?
They are many. But they fall into four broad categories:
1. Ahara β Food 2. Vihara β Lifestyle 3. Manas β Emotions 4. Parinama β Environmental changes
Letβs walk through each one β gently, honestly, and with compassion.
Ahara β Diet: The Primary Psoriasis Fuel
Most skin diseases in Ayurveda originate in Agnimandya (weak digestion) and Ama (toxic buildup). The wrong foods clog the system, inflame the blood, and aggravate doshas.
Here are major dietary causes of psoriasis:
β Viruddha Ahara β Incompatible Food Combinations
These are foods that disrupt your digestive intelligence, creating toxic reactions in the blood.
- Milk + salty food
- Milk + fish or meat
- Fruit + yogurt
- Curd + jaggery
- Ghee + honey (in equal quantity)
- Banana + milk
- Cold drinks after hot food
- Fermented food with dairy
Β
In patients with recurring psoriasis flares, these combinations are almost always present in the diet β sometimes daily.
β Processed & Artificial Foods
- Packaged snacks, chips, sauces
- Preservatives, emulsifiers
- Refined sugars and flours
- Deep-fried items in reused oils
Β
These inflate Kapha, create sticky Ama, and damage the blood channels (Rakta vaha srotas).
β Excessive Pitta-Aggravating Foods
Especially dangerous for Pitta or Pitta-Kapha constitutions:
- Excess chili, garlic, onion
- Tomatoes, eggplants, fermented pickles
- Red meat
- Alcohol, especially beer and wine
- Sour fruits like pineapple, tamarind, citrus in excess
Β
π₯ These foods make the blood hot and reactive. Itching, redness, burning sensations β all worsen with them.
β What to Eat Instead?
- Warm, lightly spiced food
- Mung dal, cooked vegetables
- Bitter greens (neem, methi, drumstick leaves)
- Ghee (in small amounts) to calm Vata
- Warm water with dry ginger or cumin
- Old rice, millets, barley
- Cooked apples or stewed pears
Β
This is not deprivation. This is cooperation with your body.
2. Vihara β Lifestyle & Daily Habits
Psoriasis is often worsened by lifestyle sins. I call them the βSix Invites to Inflammation.β
π« Six Dangerous Lifestyle Habits in Psoriasis
- Sleeping during the day Increases Kapha. Slows Agni. Increases Ama.
- Staying up late after 11 PM Imbalances Vata, disrupts melatonin, weakens ojas.
- Overuse of air conditioning Suppresses skinβs ability to sweat and release toxins.
- Irregular eating times Derails digestive fire. Leads to Ama accumulation.
- Excess screen exposure, especially before bed Aggravates Vata. Causes dryness and mental restlessness.
- Over-bathing or harsh soaps Removes skinβs protective oils. Worsens dryness and flaking.
Β
3. Manas β Emotional Triggers & Mental Patterns
Let me say this clearly: Your skin is not just your bodyβs outer layer β itβs your mind turned inside-out.
Emotional trauma often precedes flare-ups. What is unspoken in your heart⦠becomes visible on your skin.
π₯ Common Emotional Triggers
- Suppressed anger (Pitta)
- Unprocessed grief (Kapha)
- Anxiety and overthinking (Vata)
- Perfectionism, people-pleasing, shame
Β
Patients often tell me:
βIt started after my divorce.β βIt flared during lockdown.β βI kept it together β then my skin broke down.β
This is not metaphorical. It is physiological.
Stress increases cortisol, suppresses digestion, inflames cytokines, weakens the immune barrier. In Ayurveda, it vitiates the mind and vata simultaneously, leading to disease migration from mind β skin.
π§βοΈ Healing here includes:
- Emotional journaling
- Trauma release through yoga or breath
- Brahmi, Shankhapushpi, and Ashwagandha
- Oil therapies (Abhyanga, Shirodhara)
- Spiritual support β mantra, prayer, guided meditation
Β
4. Parinama β Environmental Causes
Lastly, we must not forget external influences. These are real, powerful, and often overlooked.
π¬ Environmental Triggers
- Sudden change in climate (moving from hot to cold region)
- Excessive exposure to cold wind
- Dry air or heating systems in winter
- Woolen clothing without cotton lining
- Long travel, irregular routines, jet lag
- Contact with certain chemicals, metals, or cosmetics
Β
Ayurveda calls this βKala Parinamaβ β when external seasons or elements disturb internal dosha harmony.
𧴠Simple Solutions:
- Always oil the skin before shower
- Use cotton layers below synthetics
- Avoid scented soaps and lotions
- Respect seasonal regimens (Ritucharya) β diet and behavior must change with the weather
Β
A Real Case Example
Let me tell you about Raghav β a young man, 28, IT engineer. He had scalp psoriasis for 4 years. Tried steroids, shampoos, even biologics. No relief.
When we examined his causes, hereβs what we found:
- Ate curd with fish weekly (Viruddha Ahara)
- Slept at 2 AM daily (Vata-aggravating)
- Skipped lunch, heavy dinner (Agni disruption)
- Recently ended an engagement β suppressed grief
- Lived in a cold, dry city with AC all day
Β
We didnβt start with medicines. We started with removing what was breaking him.
3 months later, he was 70% clear. 6 months later β totally free.
That is the power of Nidana Parivarjana.
Ayurvedic Treatment Protocols β Shamana, Shodhana & Rasayana for Psoriasis
Let me begin with a promise:
You can heal. No matter how long youβve had psoriasis. No matter how many steroids youβve used. No matter how many times it has returned.
But that healing β real healing β will not come from suppressing. It comes from releasing. Rebalancing. Rebuilding.
Ayurveda offers a three-phased protocol for doing this, each one scientific and time-tested:
1. Shamana β Pacifying the Imbalance 2. Shodhana β Cleansing the Root 3. Rasayana β Rejuvenating the System
Let us go into each phase with clarity.
1. Shamana Chikitsa β Pacifying Phase
This is the first step in most cases β especially when the patient is weak, the Agni is low, or the disease is recent.
We begin by calming the aggravated doshas, supporting Agni, and clearing Ama gently from the system.
π Key Strategies:
- Agni Deepana β Digestive stimulants like Trikatu, Chitraka, Musta
- Ama Pachana β Herbs that burn toxins: Guduchi, Shunthi, Vacha
- Dosha-specific Pacification
- Internal Medicines
- Diet Regulation
Β
This phase lasts 2 to 6 weeks, depending on severity.
Goal: Ease symptoms, prepare the body for deeper detox.
2. Shodhana Chikitsa β Cleansing Phase (Panchakarma)
Now comes the most potent healing phase β removing the very root of disease from the body.
Panchakarma means βfive actionsβ β a deeply scientific and ritualistic cleansing process that clears excess doshas, toxins, and metabolic waste from the deep tissues.
In psoriasis, this is non-negotiable for lasting remission β especially in chronic, steroid-dependant, or relapsing cases.
π Ideal Panchakarma Sequence for Psoriasis:
- Purva Karma (Preparation) - Snehapana β Internal ghee (e.g., Tikta ghrita) to loosen toxins. Abhyanga β Oil massage. Swedana β Herbal steam to mobilize waste
- Pradhana Karma (Main Detox) - Virechana β Therapeutic purgation (especially for Pitta) β Clears liver, intestines, skin channels Basti β Medicated enemas (especially for Vata and chronic types) β Calms nervous system, dryness, immunity Optional: Raktamokshana β Bloodletting for intense Rakta dushti
- Paschat Karma (Post-care) - Gradual food reintroduction. Rasayana herbs. Emotional grounding. Daily routine rebuilding
Β
Panchakarma must never be done at home without guidance. It is a sacred reset and must be personalized.
A typical psoriasis Panchakarma protocol takes 21 to 45 days.
π§πΎβοΈ What changes after Shodhana?
- Skin stops cracking or bleeding
- Intensity of flares reduces dramatically
- Emotional peace returns
- Digestion stabilizes
- Night sleep deepens
Β
This is where true remission begins.
3. Rasayana Chikitsa β Rejuvenation Phase
Now the body is clean, but vulnerable. This is when we begin rebuilding immunity, skin resilience, and emotional strength.
Rasayana is the Ayurvedic art of deep nourishment and tissue regeneration.
This is not just about supplements. Itβs about:
Reprogramming the body to stay balanced.
πΏ Key Rasayana Herbs for Psoriasis:
- Amalaki β Rich in antioxidants, liver cleanser
- Ashwagandha β Balances Vata, stress-resilience
- Guduchi (Giloy) β Rejuvenates immunity
- Manjistha β Rebuilds clean blood
- Shatavari β Cooling, nurturing, endocrine balancing
- Brahmi + Mandukaparni β Mind rejuvenation
Β
These are often given as:
- Rasayana Lehyas (herbal jams)
- Ghritas (medicated ghee)
- Churnas (powders) mixed with honey or ghee
Β
π² Rasayana Diet & Lifestyle
- Warm, nourishing, but light meals
- Proper sleep routines
- Daily Abhyanga (self-oiling)
- Gentle yoga and Pranayama
- Avoiding all known psoriasis triggers
- Spiritual connection β mantra, prayer, intention-setting
Β
Rasayana phase may continue for 3β6 months post-cleanse. Sometimes longer for deeply chronic cases.
The Healing Flow β Timeline Summary
Letβs look at how this unfolds over time:
Phase Duration Focus
Shamana 2β6 weeks Calm doshas, reduce symptoms, prep Agni
Shodhana 3β6 weeks Deep detox β remove root cause
Rasayana 3β6 months Rebuild immunity, prevent relapse
Each phase requires 100% patient participation β not just pills, but rituals.
When Do We See Results?
Patients often ask: βHow soon will I see change?β
Let me answer as your Guru, not your doctor:
π± If you follow 70% of the guidance β youβll see 40% improvement. πΏ If you follow 100% of the guidance β your skin will transform. π« If you follow the spirit of Ayurveda β you will transform.
Remember:
Skin is the mirror. But the healing begins inside.
Case Studies β Psoriasis Healing Stories from My Practice
Dear friends⦠healing is not a fantasy.
It is not a philosophy. It is not even an ambition.
It is a biological certainty β when you follow natureβs law, and your own inner design.
So today, let me walk you through the lives of real people β people just like you β who once thought their condition was hopeless. They had tried it all. Dermatologists. Steroids. Light therapy. Creams that smelled like tar. And yetβ¦ they healed.
Why?
Because they stopped chasing symptoms, And started listening to the root.
Here are three stories I wish to offer you β each one unique, just like Prakriti itself.
Case 1: Raghav β 28, IT Engineer, Scalp Psoriasis
Raghav was a quiet, anxious young man. Lean frame. Dark under the eyes. Nervous laugh.
He had scalp psoriasis for 4 years. It had begun after a breakup, worsened during a stressful job transfer, and had now spread behind his ears and forehead.
He came in with these words:
βGuruji, Iβve stopped going to temples. People think I donβt bathe.β
His symptoms:
- White scales covering entire scalp
- Itching worse at night
- Mild oozing when scratched
- Coated tongue, occasional bloating
- Sleep disturbed β βmind racingβ
Β
My assessment:
- Prakriti β Vata-Pitta
- Agni β Vishamagni (irregular)
- Emotional State β Suppressed grief, Vata derangement
- Vikriti β Predominant Vata with Pitta flare
Β
Treatment Plan:
- Shamana (2 weeks):
- Shodhana (4 weeks):
- Rasayana (3 months):
Β
Result:
- 80% improvement in 6 weeks
- Fully clear by 4 months
- Hair regrew evenly
- Emotional state stabilized: βIβve started singing again.β
Β
Today he volunteers in a youth mental wellness foundation. And his shampoo? Just warm water and trust.
Case 2: Dr. Renu β 36, Homeopath, Inverse Psoriasis
Yes, even doctors fall ill. Especially those who forget to care for themselves.
Renu was a brilliant woman. Charismatic. Kind. Always helping others. But her own skin was crying out from years of self-neglect.
Symptoms:
- Raw, red lesions under breasts and groin
- Burning sensation, worse in heat
- Night sweats
- Craving for cold foods
- Frequent irritability, judgmental thoughts
- High expectations of self
Β
My assessment:
- Prakriti β Pitta-Kapha
- Agni β Tikshnagni (sharp, but erratic)
- Vikriti β High Pitta + blocked Kapha
- Manas β Intense, Rajasic mind
Β
Treatment Plan:
- Shamana (3 weeks):
- Shodhana (5 weeks):
- Rasayana (6 months):
Β
Result:
- Flare subsided within 1 month
- Skin cool and clear within 3 months
- Energy more balanced, anger reduced
- She now teaches Ayurvedic diet at her clinic!
Β
Her words to me:
βGuruji, for the first time, I feel like Iβm living inside my body.β
Case 3: Mr. Krishnamurthy β 62, Retired Banker, Psoriatic Arthritis
When he walked into my clinic, his fingers were twisted. His knees swollen. But it was his eyes that broke me. They held pain β but also hope.
Condition:
- Diagnosed with plaque psoriasis for 18 years
- Developed joint pain 5 years ago
- On methotrexate and NSAIDs
- Could not walk without support
- Felt emotionally numb, isolated from family
Β

- Shodhana (7 weeks):
- Rasayana (Ongoing for 1 year):
Β
Result:
- 40% skin improvement in 2 months
- Able to walk unaided by 5 months
- Joint swelling 70% reduced
- Off methotrexate entirely by 7 months
Β
Today he reads Bhagavad Gita aloud to his grandchildren every morning.
βGuruji,β he said, βyou gave me back my dignity.β
What These Stories Prove
These are not miracles. They are results of methodical, individualized care.
Each patient:
- Had their Prakriti understood
- Was treated with Dasa Vidha Pareeksha
- Had root causes removed
- Was taken through Shamana, Shodhana, Rasayana
- Committed to lifestyle transformation
- Healed not just their skin β but their relationship with life

Integrative Protocols β Blending Modern Science & Ayurveda for Psoriasis
Friends⦠as you know, I am not a purist.
I respect all systems of healing β when they serve the patient, not the ego.
So in this section, let me show you how we can integrate Ayurveda with modern science β without conflict, without dogma β to treat psoriasis holistically and effectively.
Our goal is not to choose between science and tradition.
Our goal is to ask: What serves the body best⦠at this moment?
What Modern Science Offers
Modern dermatology has valuable insights:
- Immunopathology of psoriasis
- Understanding of T-cell and cytokine involvement
- Monitoring through bloodwork (CRP, ESR, liver enzymes)
- Acute symptom control with topicals (salicylic acid, tar, clobetasol)
- Management of psoriatic arthritis
Β
And yes β in some situations, modern drugs are life-saving.
But what modern medicine lacks is:
- A long-term sustainable cure
- Tools to restore Agni or purify Rakta
- Awareness of dietary incompatibilities
- Respect for Prakriti-specific therapy
- Mind-body-emotion integration
Β
This is where Ayurveda completes the picture.
What Ayurveda Adds to the Table
- Detoxification via Panchakarma
- Restoration of gut and liver balance
- Healing of mental-emotional causes
- Daily routines to stabilize doshas
- Personalized diet and herbal support
- Long-term immune modulation without suppression
Β
So how do we bring both together? Let me show you.
INTEGRATIVE PSORIASIS PROTOCOL
1. Daily Routine (Dinacharya) for Psoriasis Patients
This is your lifestyle prescription.
π Morning
- Wake before sunrise (4:30β6:00 AM) β balances Vata-Kapha
- Tongue scraping β clears Ama
- Warm water with ginger, cumin, or coriander seeds
- Abhyanga β oil self-massage with Pinda taila or Kottamchukkadi taila
- Bath with green gram flour or Ayurvedic herbal powders β avoid chemical soaps
- Meditation / Pranayama β minimum 15 minutes: Sheetali, Nadi Shodhana
- Light breakfast β moong dal, warm rice porridge, or stewed apples
Β
π Afternoon
- Lunch by 12:30 PM sharp β main meal of the day
- Avoid cold water or cold foods

- Avoid scented soaps, loofahs, hot water
- Use: Neem or turmeric-based Ayurvedic powders
Β
𧴠Oiling
- Morning: Pinda Taila or Chandanadi Taila

- In severe itching: add coconut oil base
Β
𧴠Modern Options (if needed)
- Salicylic acid 2% for scaling
- Coconut-based emollients (no petroleum products)
- Avoid corticosteroids unless absolutely necessary for short-term crisis control β always taper with Ayurvedic internal support.
Β
Mind Integration β Emotional Rasayana
πΏ Daily Practices:
- Journaling β What did I feel today? What did I avoid expressing?
- Mantra chanting β Try βOm Shreem Namahβ or βDhanvantari Stotraβ
- Yogic Asanas β Pawanmuktasana, Shashankasana, Bhujangasana
- Weekly digital detox β one day with no phone/screens
- Therapeutic touch β apply oil to self with awareness and gratitude
Β
Stress is not just a trigger. It is a fertilizer for inflammation. You cannot oil away what your mind continues to inflame.
Diet Protocol β Psoriasis Nutrition Plan
β Foods to Embrace
- Warm rice, old wheat, barley
- Cooked vegetables (bitter gourd, ridge gourd, bottle gourd)
- Moong dal, toor dal
- Cowβs ghee in small amounts
- Herbs: coriander, cumin, fenugreek

- Tomatoes, brinjal, jackfruit, citrus in excess
- Red meat, eggs, processed snacks
- Cold water, ice creams, fizzy drinks
- Leftover or reheated food
Β
Remember:
Every bite can be a blessing or a burden.
Lab Work + Modern Monitoring
Even while following Ayurveda, scientific monitoring matters β especially if you're under medication or in relapse.
Recommended labs (baseline + every 3 months):
- CBC, ESR, CRP
- Liver Function Test (LFT)
- Kidney Function Test (KFT)
- Fasting Blood Sugar
- Lipid Profile
- Vitamin D3
- Thyroid panel (TSH, T3, T4)
Β
For psoriatic arthritis:
- ANA, RA factor
- X-rays or MRIs for joint assessment
Β
This keeps your treatment transparent, accountable, and safe.
Modern Medications β When and How to Wean
If youβre on:
- Methotrexate / Biologics
- Topical steroids
- Phototherapy
Β
β‘ Do NOT stop suddenly.
β‘ Begin Ayurveda in parallel, then gradually taper with clinical support.
Always inform your allopathic physician. Create an integrative care team. The goal is to shift from suppression to regulation, without shock to the system.
Summary β The Bridge Between Systems
Need Modern Support Ayurvedic Partner

The Way Forward to Radiant Skin and a Balanced Life
My dear friends⦠You have stayed with me through each step of this sacred science.
From the definition of psoriasis⦠To its root causes⦠To the diagnostic wisdom of Dasa Vidha Pareeksha⦠Through the evolution of disease via Shat Kriya Kala⦠Through personalized dosha understanding⦠And finally, into the heart of treatment, routine, and integration.
So, allow me nowβ¦ to speak not as a teacher β but as your fellow traveler.
Psoriasis Is Not Your Enemy
It is easy to see your skin as something that betrayed you.
To scrub it. Curse it. Hide it. To ask: βWhy me?β
But what if I told you⦠your skin is your ally?
That these flares, these patches, this redness β is your bodyβs love language?
Your skin is not trying to shame you. It is trying to save you.
It is saying:
- βPlease digest your emotions.β
- βPlease do not poison me with incompatible food.β
- βPlease rest.β
- βPlease listen.β
Β
The more you resist it⦠the louder it becomes. The moment you embrace it⦠it begins to quiet.
This is not poetic philosophy. This is immunological reality.
Healing Happens in Stages β Respect the Timeline
Do not ask:
βHow long before Iβm cured?β
Instead ask:
βWhat is the next small thing I can shift today?β
Healing from psoriasis is like growing a tree:
- First we prepare the soil (Shamana)
- Then we uproot the weeds (Shodhana)
- Then we nourish and grow (Rasayana)
Β
Yes, some people respond quickly. Others take longer. But all who walk the path honestly and consistently β see results.
This is not hope. This is biology working with consciousness.
You Are More Than Your Skin
Let me say this clearly, with love:
You are not your symptoms. You are not your flakes, your redness, your prescriptions.
You are a being made of:
- Prakriti β your elemental identity
- Agni β your digestive intelligence
- Ojas β your immunity and glow
- Manas β your mindβs vibration
- Atma β your quiet, observing self
Β
Psoriasis may touch your skin β But it does not reach your soul.
And when you begin to live from the soul⦠Even the skin begins to reflect that peace.
A Lifestyle of Conscious Choices
Here is my request to you:
- Eat with reverence.
- Sleep with discipline.
- Oil your body with gratitude.
- Express your emotions without shame.
- Cleanse your channels when seasons shift.
- Align your habits with your dosha.
- And surround yourself with healing people and healing spaces.
Β
Let wellness become a ritual, not a reaction. Let your day itself become your medicine.
The Spiritual Side of Healing
At the deepest level, psoriasis often reflects disconnection β from the body, from the self, from silence.
So take time β not just for herbs and routines β but for:
- Prayer (whatever your tradition)
- Mantra or sacred sound
- Reading that nourishes wisdom
- Being in nature
- Sitting with yourself β not to fix, but to listen
Β
Sometimes, the greatest Rasayana is stillness.
My Final Advice
- Never Google your disease more than you meditate.
- Let food become your most consistent healer.
- Do not fear relapse β see it as a teacher revealing your imbalance.
- Track progress by digestion and sleep β not just patches.
- Celebrate small victories.
- Return to your Vaidya regularly β healing is not a one-time act.
Β
And above allβ¦
Treat your skin as if it were a sacred child. Feed it. Calm it. Protect it. Speak kindly to it. For it has never once stopped protecting you.
The Road Ahead
So what now?
If you are just starting β begin with diet and routine. If you are ready β schedule your Panchakarma purification. If you are already healing β maintain it with Rasayana and seasonal care.
And if you ever feel lostβ¦
Return to the beginning. Read your pulse. Scrape your tongue. Listen to your body. And ask it: βWhat are you asking me to shift?β
It always knows.
Gratitude and Namaskaram
To those who have suffered in silence β To those who have endured burning, itching, shame β To those who never gave up the search β I bow to your strength.
And I promise you this:
Healing is not a miracle. It is a method. It is a memory. And it is your right.
Thank you for trusting this path. Thank you for walking it with me. May your skin glow with balance. May your gut burn with Agni. May your soul rest in peace.
Namaskaram. Om Shanti. Om Swasthya.
